What's a Brooklyn Twinkle?

Brooklyn Twinkle is a design and communications firm founded by Carrie Harvey, a native Brooklynite who thinks all successful designs shine with something indescribably special.

We especially love when something is beginning. Think of us as your Northern Star, guiding your new brand, product or service out of the idea stage and into a stylish real world presence.

Design and communication services include: websites, branding, advertising, publication design, business cards, stationery suites, presentations, invitations, announcements, and editorial illustrations.

About Carrie

Carrie has over twenty years of experience--both as a Marketing & Communications Manager and designer--and brings a unique, client-centric perspective to each project. She has planned, executed and overseen a wide range of communications projects for profit and non-profit clients in the publishing, design, high-tech and education sectors. With a background in both writing and design, Carrie works in the visual and verbal realms to deliver powerful communications packages.

Carrie is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology in the Communications Design department. Teaching is a wonderful way to stay connected to the creative process.

Carrie received her Master’s in Communications Design from Pratt Institute, where she received the Excellence in Academic Achievement Award and graduated with Distinction. She graduated magna cum laude from Kenyon College, with a Bachelor’s in English and Art History.

She was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York where she now resides with her husband and two children.
